The Department of Mathematics paid tribute to the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan by celebrating Mathematics Week to commemorate his 129th birth anniversary. A week-long celebration continued from December 19th to 22nd, 2016, was marked with games, activities, riddles, puzzles etc. All the Mathematics classes were turned into fun and games. Students learnt new concepts, tested their IQ and other mathematical skills by playing games, solving puzzles and riddles and doing constructive activities. Apart from showing various videos, presentations and charts, grade wise activities and games were organized for all students. They were also introduced to the concepts of Vedic Mathematics which made calculations easy and fun to work with.
