Admission Process of Doha Modern Indian School – Qatar

The admission process begins with registration. Registration forms can be downloaded from our school website. Kindly note that the minimum age requirement for admission to Kindergarten is 3 years as of 31st March. There are no formal entrance tests for Kindergarten, but an interview with parents and students may be required.

DMIS Registration Process for Admission

1. Enquiry Form

Register your ward’s details in waiting list (Pre-Admission Form). Click on “Apply Now” button to fill out and submit the details on-line. As per the Vacancies and Pre-Admission Form Numbers, Registrar will get back to you.

 

2. Registration

Submit the duly-filled admission form and required documents to the Registrar. Once the Registrar verifies your documents, proceed to the Accounts office and pay the Assessment Fee of QR 109.

 

3. Assessment Test / Interview

The Registrar will provide information regarding the date of the test. Follow the appointment date and time to bring your ward(s) to the Interview and the written test with Required Documents. Submission of the documents (hard copy) and the Assessments shall be on the same day.

 

4. Confirmation

 After the (interview and written test) results are declared, the Registrar will confirm the grade to which your child will be admitted.

 

5. Fees

After the confirmation from Registrar parents will pay the admission fee of QR 327/- & a refundable Caution Deposit of QR 546/-. The admission process will only be completed upon payment of the Admission Fee, Caution Deposit & the Term Fee.

6. Refundable Caution Deposit

The Caution Deposit of QR 546/- will be refunded when the student leaves the school.

The Final Step: Present the school fees (Term) receipt to the Registrar, who will guide you on the next steps.

Identity Card

Collect your child’s Bus Card/ID Card for the upcoming academic year, along with the Class Record Form, from the Registrar on the specified date. Your child needs to display the bus card to access school transport and hand over the class record form to the class teacher on the first day of school.

Errors

If there are any errors regarding grade, transport, lunch, or creche details, kindly contact the Registrar. All other corrections will be handled by the respective class teacher.

Withdrawal Procedures

To withdraw your child from the school or discontinue school transport, provide one month’s notice before the start of the new term. Regardless of the month of withdrawal or transport discontinuation, tuition/transport fees for the full term must be paid.
